Question: How do I access my Email Account using Eudora?
This question relates to category Email
Answer:
You can use several different e-mail accounts with Eudora. Your main account, or “dominant personality” is specified in the Getting Started options. Additional mail accounts, or “multiple personalities” are set up in the Personalities window and the Account Settings dialog box. Please note, the free version of Eudora does not support “multiple personalities”. Persons using the free version will need to set up their mail account as the main account, or “dominant personality”.
The following will outline the steps to creating an additional email account using the “multiple personalities” function.
| 1. | From the Tools menu, choose Personalities, or click the Personalities window’s tab if it is a deselected window in a tabbed group. The Personalities window appears. |
| 2. | Right-click anywhere inside the Personalities window to display the drop-down context menu. |
| 3. | From the context menu, choose New. |
