Microsoft Outlook Instructions

  • Go to the location of your HTML Email Signature that has been emailed to you.
  • Select the signature.
The easiest way to do this is to Press CMD-A or Ctrl-A (pressing the "Ctrl" key and the "A" key at the same time will "Select All" - the signature will turn blue and be completely highlighted in your browser)
Alternatively, select the signature with your mouse cursor. Make sure to highlight the entire signature.
  • Copy the signature.
The easiest way to do this is by pressing Ctrl-C (pressing the "Ctrl" key and the "C" key at the same time will "Copy" the signature to your computer's clipboard - you won't actually see anything happening)
  • Paste the signature into your email program.
Either within a new email, or within the "signatures" section of your program, simply paste the signature. The easiest way is again to use keyboard short cuts; press Ctrl-V ('control' + 'V' is pasting from your clip board to the location where your cursor is situated.)
See below instructions for specific email clients.

Note: The links in the signatures will not work while you are composing your message - they will work once you have received the sent message and are in "reading" mode within your email program.

Pasting your HTML Email Signature in OUTLOOK 2007

  1. Outlook 2007. In a new message, on the Message tab, in the Include group, click Signature, and then click Signatures.

  2. On the E-mail Signature tab, click New. Type a name for the signature, and then click OK.
  1. In the Edit signature box, paste in the signature that you copied from your email signature page. All formatting and links will have been preserved and you can now insert the new signature into any new email.
